Q. What’s the difference between my
Master Account and my Game Account?
A. Your
Master Account is only for accessing the
Q. I appealed a bug awhile ago and I
still haven’t heard back. Why?
A. Thanks
for reporting a bug! Bug appeals go into a different queue than your typical
emergency/CSR appeals. If you file a bug report, you will most likely not
get a reply unless it's a very rare bug (those wicked denizens of chaos) and
more information is needed from you.

Our CSRs are on call 24 hours a day waiting to help you if you have a game-breaking issue. In that case, please file an emergency appeal by clicking on the question mark on your interface and using the appeal form that pops up to enter your information. Please note that typing /appeal in WAR does not work to create an appeal. Thanks!

Q. My
fellow guild officers and I are having a ‘discussion’ about whether or not we
should alts in the guild. How does guild leveling work, exactly? Would having a
bunch of extra inactive characters cause our guild to level more slowly than if
we were all active?
A. No,
having inactive characters in your guild roster won’t slow down your guild
advancement. A guild gains experience and ranks through the actions of its
members. Anytime members earn experience and/or renown the guild earns
experience as well. So having a battalion of inactive alts is not a detriment
to your guild’s ability to level.
Q. How exactly the does the rested system work? Do you
generate the same amount of rested xp no matter where you log out? Can you
generate rest xp without logging out by going to a specific area? How much rest
xp can you generate max?
A. The most rested
experience you can have is equal to one and a half times the experience points
you need to complete your current level. The rate of increase depends on your
level, so the higher you go, the slower that rested xp bar fills up. As you
defeat monsters or players, your experience is doubled until the bar is
depleted.
You don’t have to
log out in a specific area in order to earn rested experience, but whatever
rate is appropriate for your level will speed up by 50% if you log out in a
warcamp or chapter hub belonging to your realm. If you log out in a city, this
rate is doubled. Finally, if you log out in the “Guild Leader’s Room” in a
guildhall, this rate increases to 150%!
By now you
have all become accustomed with your home capital cities. Whether it be

Contributing to City Rank Within the
City
Q. How many ranks are there per
city?
A. Each
city has a maximum of 5 ranks.
Q. Will completing quests in the
city add to the city rank contribution pool?
A. Yes, by
completing quests and PQs within the city proper and city dungeons and also by
killing monsters there, you will be contributing points towards advancing to
the next city rank.
Q. How can I tell what my current
city rank is, and view what is offered to me per city rank?
A. There
are two ways to do this. You can open the world map and switch to the pairing
section. Hover your mouse over
Q. How do I contribute to my city
rank? (Outside of the City)
A. The Tier
4 campaign will add points to your city for captured zones. Any zone which is naturally held by your
Realm adds points, as well as new zones captured in any of the three pairings. These points accrue over time, and
automatically.

Q. Can my city rank decrease?
A. Yes.
City rank is only lost during a City invasion and has varying degrees of loss,
as explained below:
- If your City is pushed into a
contested state, you will lose one City rank star. The contested state is the stage at which players fight against
one another in the streets engaging against one another.
- If your City is pushed into a
captured state, you will lose one additional City rank star. The captured state is the stage at
which players fight against the 2 sub bosses of the city that gate access
to the King.
- If your King is killed, you
will lose two additional City rank stars. By advancing through the city
and defeating the King you will have ultimately pushed the enemy city back
to city rank 1.
Q. Will the attackers lose access to
content as they push through the enemy city and lower the overall city rank?
A. No.
Let’s say a city your about to invade is at city rank 5. From the moment you
enter the city and push through each of the stages you will have access to all
rank 5 content. As you advance through each city stage you are still lowering
the rank of the enemy city (behind the scenes) and this will only be viewed by
the original city owners once they re-claim the city back from the enemy.
As you can
see, it’s very important to defend your City if it gets assaulted… as you will
no only be protecting your King, but all the goodies that a higher rank City
has to offer!
